Mailing Lists Users: Creating a New Account

The new lists server uses user-account-based permissions rather than shared passwords. To manipulate a list for which you are an administrator, you will need to make an account.

Note: the login is NOT linked to your regular AD/CAS account. Please use the same email and username if possible, but do not reuse the password.  

If, at any point in this process, you see a page that says:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Please repeat the process in an 'incognito' window for your browser, and make sure to open the verification link from your email in the same window. **It seems there are some leftover conflicting cookies from the old server that do not expire.

 Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P, or right click link -> Open Link in New Private Window
 Safari: Command+Shift+N, or right click link -> Open Link in New Private Window
 Edge: Ctrl+Shift+N,  or right click link -> Open  in new inPrivate window

Signup Process

  1. Navigate to the lists signup page (

  2. Enter your email, username, and desired password.


  3. Press Sign Up >>

  4. You should receive a notice that a confirmation email was sent to the address you entered.


  5. Check your email and click on the verification link.

  6. Press Confirm, and you are ready to sign in.
