Set up a CU owned iPhone
Make sure the device has been reset to its factory settings.
Set up your device

Turn on the device.

Follow the prompts to set your preferred language, connect to a Wi-Fi network, and create a passcode for the device.

On the Remote Management screen, tap Enroll my iPhone.

When prompted, sign in with your personal Apple ID and set up Apple security settings. If you use an Apple ID that you used with a different mobile-management solution, the Google Device Policy app might not install. You need to use a different Apple ID. If you start setup and it doesn’t complete, you need to factory reset your device and then restart setup with the new ID.

If you’re using a new Apple ID, finish setting up the new ID in the iTunes Store:
- Restart your device. When prompted to install the Device Policy App, click Install and sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- If you get an error about using your Apple ID for the first time in the iTunes Store, click Cancel or Review.
- Open the iTunes Store app.
- Tap your Apple IDView Apple ID.
- Sign in with your Apple ID and password and complete the setup with your billing address.
- Factory reset the device and use the same Apple ID to set up the device again. The Google Device Policy app installs during setup.
Do not restore from an iCloud backup during setup
If the setup doesn’t complete, factory reset the device and restart setup.

Wait while the Google Device Policy app installs on the device.

Open Google Device Policy and sign in using your Google Workspace account.
Your Google Workspace account is the account that you use for work or school. -
Tap Accept to agree to the Terms of Service.

Follow the prompts to finish setting up your device.
To get work apps, open Google Device Policy tap Menu Apps.
