Download
- Click the link below to go to the PTC Creo College Download page.
- Free student version: https://www.ptc.com/en/products/education/free-software/creo-college-download
- You will need to fill out a form before you can access the download page.
- Once the form is filled out, click submit. You will be taken to the download page.
- At the time of writing this, the most recent version was Creo 11, click the Install Creo 11 Now button.
- This will open a PDF file. Alternatively, you can access the PDF file via the link below.
- Click the link in the top of the PDF file and then click HTTPS next to Creo11.
- NOTE: You will be required to create a PTC Education account, instructions for that can also be found in the top section of that PDF.
- You can create an account at www.ptc.com/appserver/common/account/ptcacademic.jsp
- Once you've made an account and signed into the download page. Click the checkbox on the export agreement and click continue.
- Click the HTTPS link next to the version you wish to download and the download will begin.
Installation
- After downloading PTC Creo you will have a .zip file titled something like MED-100WIN-CD-480_11-0-0-0_Win64.zip.
- Unzip this file using something like 7Zip, WinRar, or any other means to extract the contents of the file.
- Run the Setup.exe file
- With Install New Software toggled click Next.
- Accept the Software License Agreement and check the box below then click Next.
- Click the + next to Node Locked License Generation and enter the following serial number: BE110908EDSTUDENTEDK12 and then click Install Licensing
- You will be asked to sign in with your PTC account that you just made.
- Give the application time to process, it may seem stuck temporarily.
- Once you see processing change to success, click next.
- Uncheck enable diagnostic data collection for these applications then click Next.
- Choose any customizations you would like and then click Install to begin the installation
