Bulk Encrypting Files

  1. Install 7-Zip on your computer (it may already be there)
  2. Find the file you wish to encrypt
  3. Right-click on the file, choose the 7-Zip menu and select “Add to Archive…”

4. Select the filename for your encrypted file. The default is the original filename with a .7z at the end.

5. Check the “Encrypt file names” box

6. Verify that “Encryption method:” is set to AES-256

7. Click OK

8. Your file will be encrypted and placed in the same directory as the original.
