Echo Cloud: Edit a Recording

Instructors may perform minor edits to an Echo recording.  WARNING: Access to editing is limited 30 days from date of capture.  Beyond that, editing capabilities on the Echo server expire.  

Step-by-step guide

  1. Log in to go.clarkson.edu/echo

  2. From Echo dashboard, search or filter for desired recording in Library.

  3. Click on thumbnail image of desired recording, below recording preview window, locate/click Edit Media button.

  4. Select handles in the player bar to trim start (Top) and end (Tail) from recording. To cut sections, click playhead to select start and end points of cut, then place playhead in between and click the scissors icon to cut. 

  5. When trims and cuts are complete, click Save. You will need to allow time for edited recording to complete processing after clicking Save.
