Microsoft Office Not Activated
Connect to the VPN client. Go to Start > Programs > Cisco AnyConnect VPN and connect to the server, cuvpn.clarkson.edu with your AD username and password.
Go to the administrative command prompt:
- Close all Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories. Right click on Command Prompt and Run As Administrator. That will produce a black command prompt window.
- At the prompt (c:\windows\system32) enter cd c:\program files (x86)\microsoft office\office16
- At the prompt, c:\program files (x86)\microsoft office\office16>, enter cscript vbs /act. This should display a screen that looks like this:
