Echo360: Automatic Speech Recognition or ASR

Have you activated automatic transcripts on your Echo recordings yet?

Echo will now automatically transcribe the audio in your recordings, but you must act. This is great news for accessibility and universal design reasons. Transcripts are searchable - so students can search your lecture by key term in order to jump to the point at which you are talking about it.

To Turn Transcripts On: Log in to your Echo Dashboard, locate your course and in Settings, then Features, slide ASR toggle on. When you do it now all your recordings this term will be transcribed.

Navigate to your course in Echo, click Settings:

Then click Features, and slide ASR toggle on.
