Download Student Submission Files

Summary

Instructors may wish to download student Assignment file submissions for review and grading.  Under Options, you can choose to download submissions in individual zip folders or all in one zip folder.  

This Guide Will Help You to:

• Download student assignment submissions in a single folder. Watch the video below or skip to the steps below. (Please note there are slight changes for this process between Moodle 4 and Moodle 4.5 as seen in the written directions after the video)

Steps: 

To download submissions as files in one folder:

1) From the Moodle course page, locate desired assignment and click the Submissions link. 

2) Select All or Desired Student Names to download submissions.

4) Scroll to the bottom and click Download - Download submissions in folders

5) Student submissions are downloaded as individual files in a folder. *

*Important note: As long as you don’t change any of the filenames of the submission files, you will be able to bulk upload your feedback to the Moodle assignment, circumventing the need to upload feedback files individually.
