AskSirMoodle is a AI bot developed to support Clarkson Faculty and Students in their use of Moodle as their learning management system. AskSirMoodle is not a study support or aid for academic purposes.
AskSirMoodle uses a platform called DocsBot AI, which is a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) platform designed to create custom AI chatbots, Q&A widgets, and internal assistants trained directly on a company’s proprietary documentation. It allows Clarkson to transform source documentation into a dynamic conversational agent without writing code.

- Data Ingestion: Trains on over 37 source types, including website URLs, PDFs, Notion, GitHub, WordPress, Google Docs, and Salesforce content.
- Hybrid Search & LLMs: Combines semantic vector search (powered by Weaviate) with models like GPT-4o to retrieve relevant context and provide precise, grounded answers.
- Integrations: Embeds directly onto websites via customizable chat widgets.
- Multilingual & 24/7: Provides instant answers in over 40 languages around the clock.
