Re-admission Process

Graduate and Certificate Programs - CRC Marci Students who wish to return to Clarkson to finish an incomplete graduate or certificate program of study should contact the appropriate graduate coordinator.

The Department Chair will be consulted and a decision will be made on readmittance. Graduate Students can pause a program for up to one year without action.

Potsdam programs - Carmen Grad Coordinator requests that the student email a request to return to their program; when it is received… The request is first reviewed with their Advisor to verify their position on the student returning to the grad program.
I also take a look at their academic progress and timeline to make sure the student remains in compliance with the Graduate Catalog timelines, if not, I address them with their Advisor and or Department Chair.

If there are concerns, we either identify an action plan to address them or we have the student re-admitted so the clock resets regarding degree timelines.
