Item Types - FAQ's

Item Types are the numbers used to charge student stipends and scholarships to the correct accounts. When the School of Arts and Sciences (A&S) dissolved, the programs housed under that school were split between the School of Engineering and the School of Health Sciences. However, the Item Types used for programs in A&S are still applicable to the following programs:

  • Basic Science
  • Biology
  • Chemistry
  • Computer Science
  • Mathematics
  • Physics

Below is a list of commonly used Item Types for the former A&S programs (GSCI), Graduate Business Programs (GBUS), and graduate programs in the Institute for a Sustainable Environment (ISE):
