Create Bookstack Documentation
Using the template found here: https://bookstack.clarkson.edu/link/2708 by clicking "Edit" and copying it. It doesn't account for everything, so use it as a general guideline. If something is consistently missing from the template, add it to it so we all are using the same starting point.
Is the task recurring?
1) Ask yourself it the task you are documented needs to be update on a regular frequency, if so, then create an Recurring Ticket in RT by following the instructions found here: https://bookstack.clarkson.edu/link/90
This will allow the Slate team to get reminders when it is coming up and be able to reach out in advance to the user to remind them this is upcoming, or find the new owner of the process if that person is no longer here or in that same position.
2) If the task is recurring, along with adding the ticket, add it to our Slate Recurring Tasks spreadsheet by following the instructions found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Z4oEQmqFAK2nNyItj_wxqs-mcKqkP6wIYmm9bGP1RD0/edit#gid=0
This will allow us to visualize an entire year and have a better grasp where our work has peaks and lulls, and use that to help us adjust processes.
