The Course Syllabus
A course syllabus is a contract between you and your students. At minimum, instructors must post their syllabus in Moodle so that students can find it easily, for more see below.
The Teaching & Learning Corner (TLC) has developed a syllabus template based on Clarkson information, industry best practices, and standards from the Quality Matters Higher Education Rubric. Using this syllabus will help assure that key information is provided to students. You can download a Google Docs COPY of the Syllabus Template and edit the template to reflect your course.
Download the Syllabus Template and access Tips for using our institutional syllabus template page from our Intranet page for guidance on using the template. (Clarkson login required)
Part II C of Clarkson Regulations contains minimum requirements that all syllabus must meet.
Clarkson Common Experience - For Undergraduate courses with CCE designation, it is required to include a statement and references to Course Learning Objectives.
