After you Activate a tutor, a few things happen in the background.
- Immediately, the tutor will be added (if made Active) or removed (if made Inactive) of the "Tutoring - Active Tutors" query
- Immediately, a tutor can how see the "Update Tutor Profile" tab on the Tutoring Portal (go.clarkson.edu/tutoring).
- Over the next two hours, the student will get added to the Faculty/Instructor dataset which allows you to assign them as a tutor to a small group tutoring section, or assign them to a session for Drop-In.
- Over the next two hours all of their courses that we have a grade for will load to the Tutoring Course Approvals section of their Tutoring tab. Any class with a B+ will automatically set as Eligible as well as Approved, but the Tutor Administrator can override these answers at any point.
- Students who are already marked as an Active Tutor will continuously have their classes loaded automatically as grades come in.
