How to Use Graphical Applications on ACRES
Following this method, you may run a graphical application on ACRES and see / interact with it through the display of your local computer.
RUNNING PARALLEL JOBS
Please note: DO NOT use the method outlined in the article to execute parallel jobs. Intensive parallel computations must still be performed through SLURM. Only use this graphical interface to set-up / inspect your files.
From a Windows computer:
View this tutorial PDF: ACRES_Starting_GUI_ programs.pdf
From a Linux computer:
ssh into acres with the "-X" option:
ssh -X acres.clarkson.edu
