Reason for Policy
In recognition that the landscape of higher education necessitates proactive decision-making. Mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships have impacts across the institution. Therefore, it is essential that the MAP process involves not only the administration and board of trustees but the faculty and other constituents who may be affected, whose expertise and support are essential to completion of due diligence, and who may be responsible and/or accountable in this process.
