DRAFT PointSolutions Account Start Up - for Students

PointSolutions by Echo360 (formerly Turning Point) is a polling app required in some Clarkson University courses for in class engagement activities.

 

Check the course description in Peoplesoft for required course materials.

If required,

Undergraduate students needwho are enrolled in these courses and in the Clarkson Bound program with Clarkson's bookstore Barnes & Noble will receive a PointSolutions license at no additional charge when they submit their materials request to purchaseClarkson aBound license to accessduring the PointSolutionsselection pollingwindow app.each Theterm.

Students appwho willopt run on your smartphone or laptop device.  If students prefer, they can elect to also purchase a clicker handheld device to runof the pollingClarkson app. 

StudentsBound may purchase the required license through the Clarkson Bookstore .or Echo360's webstore by logging in with their Clarkson username and password. This resource is a guide for students to help them through the webstore purchase process. After purchase, Students complete these steps at the start of each term: 

Startup Steps for Students:

Students must complete the following one-time operation at the start of the semester:

1. In Moodle, click to the course where you are asked to use PointSolutions.
2. Click the Point Solutions Clicker Registration link in the course.
3. Follow the prompts to complete the license registration process.
