Enroll Users In Moodle Course

Summary:

Teachers can enroll other Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Teaching Supporters or Tutors into their courses. Administrators may enroll other individuals with various roles.  

This Guide Will Help You to:

How Teachers can enroll other Teachers, TA's, and Teaching Supporters (see role definitions) into their course in Moodle.

How Administrators can enroll Students, or multiple participants.  

Enrolling aan Singleindividual Userparticipant or asmall Small Groupbatch of Usersparticipants. 

  1. Log in to Moodle and opengo theto appropriatedesired coursecourse. 
  2. Turn on editing. 
  3. Under Course Administration, click onUsers, Users -->then Enrolled UsersUsers.

3. Click on EnrolEnrolled Users buttonbutton. whichThis willopens open a small EnrolEnrolled Users windowlist. Click Enroll users button at the top.

4. ClickEnter ondesired theusername Assign(Clarkson Roles buttonemail) and select Teacher,desired Assign role. Only myCU can enroll Students in credit bearing courses. For non-editingcredit Teachercourses, orthe Student fromEnroller thepermission drop-down.can be given those who need to enroll students. 


Click Enroll Users to save.

5. Enter the uiser's name in the Search field and click Search

6. Click the Enrol button next to the appropriate user and click Finish Enrolling User


7. This will add the specified person to the course



Manual Bulk Enrollment


  1. Under the "Administration" block click on "Users" and then click on "Import Enrolls. 

  2. Make sure you have a .csv file with either your usernames or email addresses. This will need to be a CSV file (all other filetypes will not work). 
  3. Import your file with the filepicker and then click "Import"
