Enroll Users In Moodle Course

Enrolling a singleSingle userUser or a smallSmall groupGroup of usersUsers

  1. Log in to Moodle and open the appropriate course
  2. Under Course Administration, click on Users --> Enrolled Users

3. Click on Enrol Users button which will open a small Enrol Users window

4. Click on the Assign Roles button and select Teacher, non-editing Teacher or Student from the drop-down.


5. Enter the uiser's name in the Search field and click Search

6. Click the Enrol button next to the appropriate user and click Finish Enrolling User


7. This will add the specified person to the course



Manual Bulk Enrollment


  1. Under the "Administration" block click on "Users" and then click on "Import Enrolls. 

  2. Make sure you have a .csv file with either your usernames or email addresses. This will need to be a CSV file (all other filetypes will not work). 
  3. Import your file with the filepicker and then click "Import"
