Sharing Open Badge Factory Credentials

Set visibility of your badges to public:

In order for you to share all of your badges publicly:

1. Navigate to Open Badge Factory.
2. Click Login (top-right corner).
3. Click your name or profile icon (top-right corner).
4. Select My profile.
5. Look for the toggle labeled “Make my page public” (or “Public page” switch) — turn itClick onEdit profile then Settings.
6. Make sure your Profile Visibility is set to Public.
7. Click Save changesand (if prompted)close.

Anyone with the link can now view your public badge profile.

Share your collection of badges:

To share your entire collection of badges with someone:

1. Navigate to Open Badge Factory.
2. Click Login (top-right corner).
3. Click your name or profile icon (top-right corner).
4. SelectChoose MyShare badgeslink.
5. Copy from the top, then copy that URL. It looksshould look something like:like this:
   https://openbadgefactory.openbadgepassport.com/v1/assertion/username/publicapp/profile/123456
5. Copy this URL and share it with others.

Anyone with that link can view a list of all of your badges, along with each badges' details, criteria, and evidence (if visible).

Share an individual badge:

To share an individual badge with someone:

1. Navigate to Open Badge Factory.
2. Click Login (top-right corner).
3. Go to My badgesBadges.
4. Click on the badge you want to share.
5. Look forClick the “Share”Share ortab at the top.
6. As long as the “Public link” option.icon Ifis highlighted, you haven’twill yetbe made it public, you’ll needable to click “MakeShare badge public.”link
6. Once public,from Openthe Badgetop, Factorythen shows you a direct URL forcopy that badgeURL. —It should look something like:
   like this: https://openbadgefactory.openbadgepassport.com/v1/assertion/XYZ123/publicapp/badge/info/1234567
7. Copy this URL and share it with others.

Anyone with that link can view that individual badge's details, criteria, and evidence (if visible).
